My Go To GoPro Settings!

Protune Settings Video & Photo (Hero 5 Session)

Shutter – Auto, EV –  0, ISO Limit – 400, WB – Auto, Sharp – High, Color – GoPro

Protune Settings Video & Photo ( GoPro 6 )

Shutter – Auto, EV 0, Iso Min 100, Iso Max 400, WB – Auto, Sharp – Med, Color – GoPro

Other Notes

GoPro Hero 6 Raw Photo – Gives you more data to work with when editing in post so you will get a better & uncompressed image.

Linear –  Crops in a bit and flattens the horizon so you get rid of most of the fisheye look.

Gopro Color VS Flat

GoPro Color gives you less to work with when color correcting in post but does a good job at producing natural-looking images.

Flat gives you a washed out image which is nicer if you want to dive deep into color correcting.
